65 miles today!
Ouch! Today was the first “official” ride of the 2015 season. I’ve done a lot of training rides, but as far as registering and riding with hundreds of other people, this was a great way to start the season. Difficult? YES! Check out the elevation…. 4,621 feet of climbing! I think we bit off more than we could chew with this one. I wanted to stop so many times, but we finished and it was a pretty good time.
One of the jerseys that stuck out to me was one from Bike Dog Brewery in West Sacramento, so naturally, we stopped there on the drive back to Vacaville and picked up some growlers. Now I am relaxing a drinking a cold beer, getting ready to play two services at church tomorrow morning.
